Using PHARMA 4.0 as its keyword, Medipak Systems presented its integrated solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry at this year's Achema in Frankfurt.
In addition to innovations in the area of inspection technologies, tailor-made packaging solutions and track & trace systems, there was also particular focus on the horizontal and vertical integration of Medipak's systems.
The horizontal networking of machinery was therefore visualised on the floor of the trade fair stand via a graphical network and described in detail at information points. The vertical networking of machinery in hierarchical system levels – from the field level to the company level - was demonstrated to visitors of the “Medipak Tower” at a height of four metres. Floating above the machine fleet, visitors experienced the SHOP FLOOR OF THE FUTURE in the field of pharmaceutical production on interactive displays located here.
