Osram presented its innovative lighting expertise for the automotive aftermarket and design-oriented tuners at Automechnika in Frankfurt, the automotive industry's leading international trade fair for equipment, parts and accessories. Visitors had the opportunity to experience the future of automotive lighting at Osram's 300 m² stand, particularly through the use of exceptional digital exhibits. Visitors used gesture-based controls to navigate their way through a virtual scene on a two to three-metre large LED screen, placed toy cars on an interactive table in order to compare the radiance of the various vehicle headlamps and explored the various product features via 3-D visualisation, which could be rotated 360 degrees and, as a result, viewed from all sides.
In addition to these innovative interactive exhibits, atelier damböck also ensured Osram had an emotionally appealing and harmonious brand image at Automechanika, starting from the collaboration in the “Driving ahead” claim to the key visual in the form of dynamic beam front and rear lights and the stand architecture derived from the key visual, right through to the animated illuminated ceiling for the stand party.
